Project Info

The GreenWise project offers a unique educational journey combining entrepreneurial training with sustainable agriculture practices. Through a series of workshops and mentorship programs, participants will develop key entrepreneurial skills, including ideation, business planning, marketing strategies, financial management, and more.

Alongside building their business expertise, participants will explore the critical role of environmental monitoring in agricultural sustainability and resource management. By working hands-on with microgreens farming, they will learn to integrate smart technologies like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and environmental sensors to optimise growth conditions.

A central feature of the project is the online web dashboard, powered by Django, Python, and web sockets, which displays real-time sensor data while serving as an open educational resource hub. This platform ensures that participants, and future learners, can access step-by-step tutorials, coding examples, and monitoring tools at their own pace.

GreenWise provides young minds with the opportunity to develop innovative entrepreneurial projects rooted in sustainable agriculture. By combining digital tools with environmental stewardship, the project aims to cultivate a new generation of forward-thinking, environmentally conscious entrepreneurs ready to make a positive impact on the agricultural sector and beyond.
